What does it take to stand out among thousands of pimple patches? Though I would say Iโm quite well versed on this pimple topic, Iโve always thought that hydrocolloid patches were all pretty much the same. So, to find out if there are really no differences, I ordered Amazonโs best sellers: main competitor brand C, main competitor brand M, and Glam Upโs Blemishield Patch. Invisibility
Before Makeup:
I liked how all three had a matte finish, meaning they donโt shine under lighting! I do not recommend wearing Brand M (left) during the day because it was the thickest, thus the most visible. Despite the fact that all three patches are equal in size, the Brand M's patch appeared bigger than the other two. Brand C's (middle) patch is less visible than the Brand M Patch, but surely it was not as thin as Glam Upโs Blemishield Patch (right). Iโd say these Blemishield Patches were the ultimate winners of invisibility. While the other two are flat surfaced, Blemishield patches have tapered edges, which certainly helped them to blend in naturally with skin and appear much smaller than the others.

Adhesivity
Strong adherence creates an enclosed, moist environment for the hydrocolloid to work its magic over long hours. To test/examine the three productsโ adhesivity, we went through three different tests to answer the following questions:
- How well does it endure water/showers?
- How long will the patch stay on curved areas of the face?
- Will the patch remain completely flat even after brushing over it base makeup?

Glam Up
The Blemishield patch sucked out my gunk successfully
and the redness is nearly gone. I just had to wait a few hours more for the redness to completely fade.
The pus was partially sucked out, but not entirely.
I can still see the white gunk at the tip of my pimple. I tried pinching out the remaining goo, but it wasnโt ready yet.
The before and after did not change at all.
The redness around the pimple got a little better, but the pimple is still snug in my face.
